Tell All Tuesday: My Teacher Bucket List

Hey everybody! It's Tell All Tuesday time! So happy to be linking up with Diana from My Day in K and Jayme from Teach Talk Inspire again fro this fun summer linky. This week's topic:

My list is relatively short, though each year it changes and grows!!

Educational Specialist/Doctorate - I LOVE school. All parts of it - the reading, the writing, the learning, the research, the assignments. Yeah, so it's a lot of work but it makes me a better teacher and person. Learning should never stop! Keep those brains a-moving!
I want to get my Ed.S/D in curriculum and instruction because I love creating units and lessons. My kiddos always love the lessons and activities I present but I know I'm not an expert in designing curriculum and there is always so much more to learn.

Grow my TpT store - I currently have 133 products in my store. I have so many more ideas for products but I just have to make myself sit down and create them! On a side note - my personal bucket list contains "Get an iMac" which would coincidentally help this part of my teacher bucket list greatly :)

Teach Teachers to be Teachers - This is what I would ultimately like to do, if I ever leave my classroom! I love my littles but I would like to impart my knowledge and experience to other teachers and help create the next generation of classroom teachers.

Travel and present at workshops -  Who doesn't love to travel?? I really enjoy going to teacher conventions and workshops so being able to do this more and to present to other teachers would be a dream! This summer I'm presenting two sessions at our state's APEL conference and I couldn't be more excited! Though I don't have to travel far to present (literally, it's right down the road from where I live!) it's still a foot in the door for future opportunities. I'm not able to go to Vegas this year for the TpT conference, but I'm already planning for next year!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my bucket list and I can't wait to read about yours! Please grab the graphics and link up with us below and happy summer!

Summer is the perfect time to sit back, relax, and enjoy some time to reflect on the previous school year. It also gives teachers time to daydream and think to the future. In honor of summer and the time time off we're giving ourselves from our teacher reality we want to know your dreams for your teaching career. For this Tell All Tuesday, we'd love for you to share your "Teacher Bucket List." What hopes and dreams do you have for your teaching career? Do you want to go back to school to become a reading specialist? One day become principal of your school? Or something else in the realm of teaching? Dream big and don't hold back! Share your Teacher Bucket List with us today!

No matter the question, the answer is always glitter.  And of course, technology. I love technology! Except when it doesn't work, then I don't like it so much.  I am also a Google Certified Educator! I love all things Google and I am excited to bring my class this year completely paperless!  The district has...

Thoughts on Thursday: Are You Ready for Some Football?

I'm so excited that this is Thursday and my friend Kristi from Pelicans and Pipsqueaks and I are launching our monthly link-up of teacher thoughts!  Thoughts on Thursday is a weekly teacher blog link up where we talk about our thoughts on a specific subject. Sometimes we'll talk about classroom stuff, and sometimes we'll talk about life in general. You may even grab a freebie or two along the way ;) It has been a wild month of August and I am beyond ready to get back into the swing of things. So this month - Football!! So it won't come as any surprise, but living in Baton Rouge, I'm a little bit of a Tigers fan. Just a little. No, of course my closet doesn't consist of ALL purple and gold. There is some black. And pink. I may or may not own solid gold shoes with purple laces. I can neither confirm nor deny that when I go shopping I look for shoes and jewelry that match my game day outfits. Yeah, okay. I mean, just look at all this wonderfulness! Who doesn't...
